On October 1, 2015, Maryland will recognize a new grounds for divorce for spouses without a child in common. Such couples are eligible for divorce if they enter into a written separation agreement that resolves all of their economic, and they both appear for the 10-minute uncontested divorce hearing.
But here’s the best part. The new grounds of divorce does not require a separation. This means that spouses without a child in common can become divorce while still residing together.
